Foxwoods Celebrating Lunar New Year With Lion Dance
The celebratory dance will be followed by a customary parade through the Foxwoods property.

Foxwoods Resort Casino will mark the start of Lunar New Year, the Year of the Monkey, at noon Saturday, Feb. 13, with the traditional Lion Dance.
Guests are invited to join the festivities, which will begin with a celebratory dance performance in the Grand Pequot Hotel Lobby and will be followed by a customary parade through the property. The procession will be led by the Golden Monkey and will culminate with the Grand Finale in Rainmaker Square.
The Lion Dance will be performed by the Boston Chinese Freemasons Athletic Club, a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to preserve and spread Chinese culture to all who are interested. Foxwoods Resort Casino prides itself in being a culturally-diverse property and in traditional Foxwoods winning ways, parade attendees should be on the lookout for the “Money God,” who will be handing out Lucky Red Envelopes.
