Foxwoods To Host Food Collection For 2018 Sailfest

MASHANTUCKET, CT — In partnership with the Gemma E. Moran Food Bank and United Way, Foxwoods Resort Casino is pleased to sponsor this year’s food drive and Fireworks Extravaganza in support of Sailfest 2018 in New London.

According to a news release, the food drive will kick off on Saturday, July 14 at 3:30 p.m. and continue throughout the day leading up to the Fireworks Extravaganza beginning around 9 p.m.

There will be four drop off locations at Washington Park, Thames Street, the Eastern Point Beach parking lot and the Water Street Parking Garage in New London where participants can drop off canned goods at the designated food trucks.

Sailfest is Southeastern Connecticut’s premiere summertime event, complete with a fireworks display choreographed to chart-topping tunes on K-Hits 100.9 FM, amusement rides, free entertainment, ships and over 200 vendors lining the streets of New London.
