LEDYARD, CT — Foxwoods Resort Casino reported that it's seeing "positive momentum" after a June 1 reopening. According to a statement from Foxwoods, slot revenues were $33.6 million for the month of June.

This figure is down 4.9 percent compared to $35.3 million in June of 2019. Slot handle for the month was $377.1 million, down 13.5 percent from the $436.1 million wagered in the same month in 2019.

“We are really pleased that after a careful, phased-in reopening, with significant new health and safety protocols and limited capacity, that business is so strong,” Tribal Chairman Rodney Butler said. “We are glad to be open and helping with the rebuilding of Connecticut’s economy.”
