Highlands Lake Park is Busy!

A Ledyard Patch friend on our Facebook page asked if Highland Lake was open for swimming this summer.

A quick email to our friends at the Recreation Department resulted in an equally quick reply from department Director Don Grise:

Highlands, which has the Perry Pavilion, huge play set along with a volleyball court, is open for business. The Perry Pavilion is booked for family gatherings, parties, etc., every weekend until mid-August. The swimming area is checked every week by Ledge Light Health District. There are no lifeguards.
