Ledyard Fall Athletes Playing For In-State Division I Schools
A student-athlete from Gales Ferry is competing this fall for one of Connecticut's seven Division I universities.

LEDYARD, CT — More than 350 student-athletes from Connecticut, including one from the Gales Ferry section of Ledyard, are continuing their academic and sports endeavors at one of the state's seven Division I universities this fall, based on rosters provided by those institutions.
A total of 356 competitors have chosen to stay close to home while participating in 13 Division I fall sports. Danbury and Glastonbury each have 12 student-athletes on in-state D-I rosters, while Norwalk and Shelton each have 10.
Following are breakdowns by university, by county and by sport, with links to the home pages of each school's athletic department. Note: several rosters for men's cross country and women's swimming, cross country, rowing, rugby and bowling had not yet been made available by publication time.
