Ledyard Farmers Market: 'I'm So Happy It's Back"

A gorgeous Wednesday afternoon greeted the return of the Ledyard Farmers Market, as patrons picked up fresh eggs, breads and the first harvest of spring.

"I just think it is wonderful," Gales Ferry resident Judy Dolphin said. "I like to support the local growers but it's also nice to have people gather together every week. And on a day like today we're not dying of the heat or getting wet."
