Ledyard GOP To Endorse Candidates

The Republicans will gather at 7 p.m., Monday at the Bill Library to choose slates for Town Council and Board of Education

Ledyard Republicans are expected to bring back all six incumbents for Town Council and all but one for the Board of Education at Monday night's caucus.

Incumbent Town Councilor Linda Davis told Patch that the GOP will offer voters its six current councilors for re-election in November. Davis also said that all current school board members will run with the exception of Tom Malone. In his place, former Board of Ed member David Luke will run.

Democrats met last week and put together their slates for the Nov. 5 elections

For council:

Linda Davis, Mike France, Stephen Eichelberg, Kevin Dombrowski, John Marshall, Fred Allyn III.

For school board:

Mimi Peck-Llewelyn, Julia Cronin, Joan Disco, Gordon Strickland Jr., Robert Beaver, David Luke
