Ledyard Moves Up in Latest High School Wrestling Poll

The Colonels shine in the upper echelon of Connecticut high school wrestling teams.

LEDYARD, CT — As it has done all season, Danbury High School received first-place votes from each coach participating in the weekly Connecticut scholastic wrestling poll.

The Hatters garnered all 15 top votes for the sixth consecutive week.

The top 10 teams remained, with the first three maintaining their positions, but there was considerable shuffling among the next six.

Ledyard moved up a spot to the number eight ranking in the latest poll.
