Police said no one was hurt, but a bullet was fired at a house in Stoddard View damaging a glass door.

LEDYARD, CT —Police are investigating after a bullet struck a house in Stoddards View early Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

According to the Ledyard Police Department, a glass door at the house was damaged by the bullet. They said patrol officers and detectives are investigating.

There were no reported injuries.

In a Facebook post, Ledyard police said investigators found the bullet and, they interviewed neighbors and others in the area and found no one involved, they said.

Stoddards View is located off Bittersweet Drive near Avery Hill Road.

Police said the incident "appears at this time to be an isolated" one.
