Ledyard: Where Are the Places You Love?

The Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut is collecting submissions from residents on the places and spaces they love.

The Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut is hosting a ”Places You Love” in eastern CT contest. Submissions are due by March 18.

The foundation writes on its website:

“We are blessed to live in a beautiful, community-minded part of the world! We want to showcase all the places and spaces that make this region so special in our upcoming Annual Report and on our website.

We need your help: In 100 words or less, tell us about the “Places You Love” in eastern CT*. It can be a state or local park or preserve. A regional theater, museum, historic site or other cultural institution. Maybe you value a school, library or youth program site, the soup kitchen or shelter, or your local animal shelter or rescue? Whatever it is, we want to know about it!”

  • Photos must be a high resolution for printing purposes — 1MB or 1,000KB — and in JPEG, TIFF or PDF format
  • Submissions should be sent by March 18, 2015 to Pam Mola at the Community Foundation at pamela@cfect.org
