Man Pleads Guilty To Oxycodone Dealing At Foxwoods

A New York man has pleaded guilty to oxycodone dealing charges.

LEDYARD, CT — A New York man pleaded guilty to selling oxycodone in Connecticut, including at Foxwoods Resort Casino, according to federal prosecutors. Joseph Anthony Carbone, 64, of Queens, NY pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute oxycodone.

Prosecutors said Carbone conspired with others to acquire and sell about 8,100 oxycodone pills in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He was arrested Aug. 5, 2019.

He is scheduled for sentencing March 30, and faces a maximum prison sentence of 20 years. He is currently out on $200,000 bond.
