New Coffee Bar Opens In Ledyard: Report
A ribbon cutting ceremony recently took place in Ledyard.

LEDYARD, CT – Popular Stonington bakery Zest Fresh Pastry has opened a new coffee bar in Ledyard, offering guests a wide selection of fresh hot coffees and delicious pastries, the New London Day reported. A ribbon cutting ceremony took place Friday evening in Ledyard.
According to the New London Day, Zest Coffee Bar is located next to Holdridge Home and Garden Showplace, a location that formerly housed The Feckled Fox. Zest Fresh Pastry is currently located in the Velvet Mill in Stonington, however the bakery got its start at the Ledyard Farmers Market in 2012.
According to their website, the bakery opened in 2013, offering an ever-changing menu thanks to the owners' love of experimenting.

"You can expect to find an array of baked goods on a daily basis from savory pastry to sweet desserts; American classics to European delights. Zest can also be found at a number of farmers markets and at other coffee shops and restaurants throughout the region," the website reads.
The bakery offers customers a wide selection of fresh-baked scones, with flavors including sweet options like Blueberry, Peach Ginger, Raspberry Almond Oat and Blackberry Lime, as well as savory options such as Blueberry Goat Cheese, Brie Chive, Bacon Cheddar and Pumpkin Sage.

Other delicious baked options include coffee cakes, quiches cupcakes and whoopie pies.
