Police: A 911 Call Led To DUI Arrest Of Groton Man
Police said the truck with a plow attached driven by James M. Turner, 66, of Groton, was 'all over the road' on Route 117 Thursday.

LEDYARD, CT — A 911 call led police to stop the driver of a truck with a plow who was "all over the road" on Route 117 Thursday.
Police said they found the "full size pickup" as it turned into Valentino's restaurant and when they went to check on the driver's "well being," they "immediately detected alcohol emanating from the operator." Police said he failed field sobriety tests and was arrested.
Police charged James M. Turner, 66, of 11 Norfolk Court, Groton with driving under the influence. He is scheduled to appear in court in New London on Jan. 15.
