Police Investigate Church's Black Lives Matter Sign Incident

Ledyard police are investigating after a church's Black Lives Matter sign was altered.

LEDYARD, CT — Police are investigating after a report that a board altered in front of the Congregational Chruch at 722 Colonel Ledyard Highway was made to read "Black Lies Matter," according to a police post on Facebook.

Police said an officer assisted in returning the message to its original form and that police are working with the church to establish the timeline and any pertinent information.
