Rabid Bobcat Attacks Family's Dog, Hides In Home
A rabid bobcat was killed by state officials after it attacked a family's dog and hid in a home.
PRESTON, CT — A bobcat was shot and killed by Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection officials after it attacked a Preston family's dog, then hid in the family's home, according to The Day. The bobcat tested positive for rabies.
The family and their pets have had to receive rabies vaccinations as a result of the Saturday night incident. The dog has reportedly been "all right" following the attack, The Day reported.
