Roadwork Update: Avery Hill Road and Aljen Heights
Roadwork around town will continue through early August.

The town has added a new section to its website in order to more easily keep residents up to date on roadwork projects, which can disrupt driving routines.
You can find that page here.
This week's updates:
Avery Hill Roadwork Update
Residents and motorists are advised that major roadwork will continue on Avery Hill Road through July into early August. This will include finishing a few drainage loose ends and then road surface milling and repaving.
Avery Hill Road will be subject to complete closure at times between major intersections which contain the workzone; at a minimum motorists should expect one-lane traffic and associated delays.
This notice is provided that motorists, and especially local residents, may plan for these travel restrictions. Residents living within the workzone will still have access to and from their homes. Access will also be maintained for emergency vehicle traffic.
Aljen Heights Neighborhood/Tucker’s Run &Windward Lane Resurfacing
Residents and motorists are advised that resurfacing work in the Aljen Heights neighborhood and at Tucker’s Run and Windward Lane will be commencing soon, as early as later in the week of July 15th.
At a minimum motorists should expect one-lane traffic and associated delays on affected roads. Residents living within the workzone will still have access to and from their homes. Access will also be maintained for emergency vehicle traffic. There is a considerable amount of preparation work required in advance of paving, so residents are also advised to refrain from parking in the roadways from this time forward until the paving work is complete.
