Wanted Man Spotted In Market Next Door To Police Station Arrested
Chad Morgan, who had a warrant for his arrest, was spotted by cops in the Village Market ...right next door to the police station.

LEDYARD, CT — A 44-year-old Ledyard man was arrested on a warrant Sunday after being spotted by police at a local market. Which happens to be next door tot he police department.
Chad L. Morgan, of 1742 Route 12, in Ledyard, was seen at the Village Market and officers, "knowing there was an outstanding arrest warrant" for Morgan, detained him while records were checked.
Morgan was taken into custody and "walked next door to the Ledyard Police station."

The warrant for his arrest stems from a domestic case, police said. He was charged with second-degree threatening. Morgan was booked and released on a $20,000 court-set bond.
He was due in court today.
