Weezer, Pixies Coming To Foxwoods

MASHANTUCKET, CT – Foxwoods Resort Casino announced this week that Weezer and Pixies will take the Grand Theater stage in Mashantucket on Saturday, March 16, 2019 in support of Weezer’s long-anticipated record "The Black Album," set for release in 2019.

According to a news release, Weezer formed in 1992 and is widely known for such hits as "Say It Ain’t So," "Buddy Holly" and their latest hit "Can’t Knock The Hustle." Their Mashantucket performance is the band's only scheduled New England tour date.

Alternative rock band Pixies formed in 1986 and draw on elements including punk rock and surf rock. Foxwoods guests can expect to hear a number of their hits, including “Where Is My Mind,” “Here Comes Your Man” and “Gigantic.”
