Animal Tracks and Traces Program for Children Ages 3 to 5

Join us as we search for signs that animals are out and about even in winter!

Come join in the fun of exploring! Mini Explorers is how we will learn about nature and science through different activities. Children must be accompanied by an adult. (Adult does not pay). These are generally indoor/outdoor programs so please dress for the weather and conditions. Program Leader is Donna Dione. While it may seem too cold for any living creature to survive in February, many animals are scurrying all around our northern forests and fields. Go on a mystery hunt for tracks and other signs of winter animals venturing out in the snow and mud. Create a fun craft to help you remember the tracks you saw. The class meets at the Bauer Park classroom building on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:30 am. Cost is $15 for Residents and $20 for Non-Residents. Pre-registration is required as space is limited. For children ages 3 to 5 accompanied by an adult. Call 203-245-5623 for more information or to register during business hours. Thursday we are open until 6:30, Friday until noon. You can also register online at https://web1.vermontsystems.com/wbwsc/ctmadisonwt.wsc/splash.html
