Chances Of Rain Increase Wednesday In Madison

More than a quarter of an inch of rain is possible if thunderstorms occur Wednesday.

MADISON, CT — Chances of rain are set to increase Wednesday in Madison, according to the National Weather Service.

Rain is expected to begin around 2 a.m. Wednesday. The Weather Service said a 50 percent chance of showers is likely, and temperatures will dip to around 57 degrees.

Showers and a thunderstorm are possible Wednesday afternoon as temperatures climb to 74 degrees. The Weather Service reports a 70 percent chance of showers is possible, and rainfall will be between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, unless thunderstorms occur.

Rain will taper off Thursday into Friday, and mostly sunny skies will appear on Sunday with a high near 73 degrees.
