Developer, Town Settle Dispute Over Long Shore Lane

The town of Madison finally settled a dispute with Long Shore Lane LLC, which deems the road as private property and allows for more development. 

The dispute has been ongoing for approximately five years, according to a report in the New Haven Register and at issue was work that’s allowed on public versus private property.

Under the terms of the agreement, the developer will widen the road and install speed bumps and also is allowed to develop five additional lots. The Town was able to protect 18 acres from development.
