Empower Youth Leadership Program

Empower Youth Leadership Program is a two day program during April vacation designed to serve as a leadership and team building enrichment experience for the youth. The overall goal of this enrichment is to provide participants with a fun, engaging, positive and uplifting experience that will build leadership and team skills applicable to school and in life. All activities and programming will be led by Empower Leadership facilitators and specific programmatic themes will include Community building and relationship/trust development, Leadership Development, G.R.I.P. (Goal Clarity, Role Clarity, Interactions and Plan), Teamwork and Empowerment. Program takes place at the Surf Club side rooms and property. Participants should bring a lunch and two snacks and a refillable water bottle. Participants also need to wear closed toed shoes only (sneakers or trail/hiking shoes) and wear comfortable, durable clothing. Participants also need to dress appropriately for indoor activity, and should be in good health and able to participate in ground based activities that are low to moderate in physical intensity. A medical form and waiver from Empower Leadership School must be completed. Dates of program are April 6 and 7. Program runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. For grades 3 through 6. Cost is $235 for Madison Residents and $245 for Non Residents.
