Grab The Tissues: Hand Habitat For Humanity Club Honors Teachers
Saying it's been a hard year for teachers, too, students used their creativity, skills and tools, to build benches for educators.
MADISON, CT — The pandemic scuttled so much. But the Daniel Hand High School Habitat for Humanity student club, which saw many of its planned projects restricted due to COVID-19, found a way to do something that would directly impact the school community. And, recognizing that the pandemic, as hard as it's been for kids, created too an unprecedented challenge for their teachers.
Here's the way they decided to say thank you while employing the skills the club has learned as builders.
