MADISON, CT —The Daniel Hand High School Tigers baseball team is, for the first time, headed to the state championship games.
As reported by Gametime, in the 10th inning, with a runner on second base, Hand's Jack Pireaux "ripped a base hit to left field" which sent the runner home.
The Tigers won the game with a 2-1 win over Avon.
