Hand Tigers Baseball Heads To State Championship

Hand's Jack Pireaux "ripped a base hit to left field" which sent the runner home, and is now sending his team to the championships.

MADISON, CT —The Daniel Hand High School Tigers baseball team is, for the first time, headed to the state championship games.

As reported by Gametime, in the 10th inning, with a runner on second base, Hand's Jack Pireaux "ripped a base hit to left field" which sent the runner home.

The Tigers won the game with a 2-1 win over Avon.
