Happy Mother’s Day From Matthew Xu

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Matthew Xu's letter to his mom:

Mom,

Thanks for everything. You’ve been literally the best mom anyone could ask for. I don’t want this to be the cliche letter, but you have truly been great. When I was sick, you got me that nice honey water. You drive me around, even though I know you sometimes hate it. You buy stuff for me. I write this so you know that you are appreciated, because you didn’t have a kid for nothing! Anyways, thanks for everything. Really.
