How Many Madison Residents Received Coronavirus Vaccine So Far?

State health officials released data for the first time which shows how many residents in each town have been vaccinated for COVID-19.

MADISON, CT — According to the state Department of Public Health, as of Feb. 1, a total of 2,380Madison residents have received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

There are 18,030 Madison residents and 13.2 percent of them have received their first dose.

Madison has 1,578 residents over the age of 75 and 914 of them have received their first dose or 57.92 percent, according to state health officials.

Since the pandemic began, Madison has reported 823 laboratory-confirmed cases and 36 deaths, according to the state health department.
