Introduction to DSLR Photography
For adults who have an interest in photography and wish to learn about the fundamentals, concepts and techniques.
Do you have an interest in photography? Are you looking to improve your understanding of photography fundamentals, concepts and techniques? This Introduction to Photography course is tailored to those with little or no experience in DSLR photography. We will cover the basics of camera use and the development of a photographer's eye. You do not need any prior experience with photography to take this course, just a willingness to learn! About the instructor: Connor Morneault-Jaroncyk concentrates in Documentary Photography & Photojournalism. He is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys immersing himself in new cultures. He has traveled extensively throughout Asia, Europe and North America photographing various people, places and events. His current series Sleeping Rough documents the plight of homelessness in the United States. He is inspired by the works of fellow photographers Jimmy Chin and David Guttenfelder. Class meets December 4th to January 15th on Wednesdays. One class is offered from 11 am to 1 pm and the other from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Cost is $250 for residents, $260 for non-Madison residents.
