Madison-Based Autism Spectrum Connections Seeks Therapists
Growing Demand For In-Home Autism Services To Be Met By Local Experts. ABA/RBT's, Speech, OT's, PT's all sought by the new group.

MADISON, CT — A child on the autism spectrum doesn’t stop needing help when his or her school day is over. Demand is high for after school and weekend services; and along the shoreline, waitlists are months long. To fill the need soon, Autism Spectrum Connections of Southern Connecticut will be offering in-home ABA, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech in Madison and the surrounding areas by December 2019.
The company is currently seeking qualified therapists to work as much — or as little — as each clinician wants. ASC pays competitive rates plus clinical excellence incentives.
BCBA’s, those with advanced degrees in special education, will evaluate and supervise cases; RBT’s, PT’s OT's and Speech therapists will then implement each child’s home-from-school plan. ASC prides itself on its family-friendly approach — to the families they serve, as well as the "ASC family," which respects the work/life balance of all its staffers.

Because the work is in the clients' homes, ASC encompasses the totality of a child’s home life - interactions with bus drivers, parents, siblings, pets, playdates. They incorporate daily living skills (DLS) in ways a school or clinical setting cannot. The emphasis is on behaviors and functions surrounding home life, leisure time and tasks. The crossover skill sets of ABA, OT, PT and Speech can be utilized.
