The efforts and contributions of Bob MacDonald, original planner for Madison’s downtown development, is being recognized and remembered with a plaque on a walkway downtown to document his service to the community, according to a report from the Madison Source.
MacDonald passed away in 2003 and did not get to see his planning efforts come to life, according to a report from the Madison Source.
Pam McKinnon, who used to serve as President of the Madison Chamber of Commerce, said via the Madison Source she worked on the project with MacDonald.
