Madison Little Leaguers Beat Massachusetts, Play Again Wednesday
Madison lost to Vermont on Sunday evening but with their win Tuesday they'll move on to the next round, which will be in Bristol, CT.
MADISON, CT — The Madison little league team, Connecticut’s state champion, staved off elimination beating Massachusetts 4-1 Tuesday evening. The game was tied 1 to 1 before Madison scored three runs in the fourth inning to put the game away, reports WTNH News 8's Erik Dobratz.
Madison lost to Vermont on Sunday evening but with their win Tuesday they’ll move on to the next round, which will be in Bristol on Wednesday. Madison will face Maine in the losers bracket at 4 p.m. The winner will advance while the other team's season will end.
The eventual Bristol-New England champs will advance to the Little League World Series in Williamsport next week.
