Madison Will Hold Pride Flag Raising Event Monday

Set for 9 a.m. at the Town Campus, it will "honor the on-going civil rights movement of Madison's LGBTQ+ community."

MADISON, CT — The town announced Tuesday that to "honor the on-going civil rights movement of Madison's LGBTQ+ community and to commemorate the 52nd Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising" it will hold a Pride flag raising on Monday at 9 a.m.

To be held on the Madison Town Campus at the flag pole, it's expected that First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons and other community leaders will attend and share remarks to recognize Pride Month in Madison.
