New Basketball Shooting Camp Added to Summer Recreation Offerings
Madison Beach and Recreation is happy to announce the addition of the Jeremy Pringle Shooting Camp starting July 26th!
Madison Beach and Recreation is happy to add the Jeremy Pringle Shooting Camp to our summer camp offerings.
Jeremy Pringle Shooting Camp is for girls and boys ages 8 to 16 who want to improve their basketball shooting skills. This camp focuses on shooting and creating skilled shooters through workouts with an emphasis on proper technique in footwork and form shooting, while working on creating space off a pass and off the dribble. Coach Pringle has used the same strategies with players of all ages and ability levels, elementary to professional athletes, tailoring the drills and workouts to the players individual skill level. Coach Pringle is the shooting coach for Daniel Hand High School and he has also had the opportunity to learn from and be mentored by NBA shooting coach, Dave Hopla, for over 15 years. Through his guidance, Coach Pringle has been able to work with players in various stages of their careers, allowing him to build his craft and gain tremendous experience. Campers should bring a lunch and a water bottle and bring a mask as masks are required indoors. Wear gym shoes and comfortable clothing and players are asked to bring their own ball. Please make sure your name is written on your ball with a permanent marker! Camp will be held at the DHHS gym and campers should be dropped off under the bridge at the high school, accessing the gym through the doors on the right. When you register you will be sent a medical form via email to complete and bring to camp. This camp is drop off and pick up only. Parents should not plan to stay as we need to minimize car traffic/congestion during construction. You can register in person at Madison Beach and Recreation or online at https://web1.myvscloud.com/wbw...
You will need to create an account, if you don't already have one, in order to register online. For more information or assistance please call the Recreation Department at 203-245-5623 or stop in at 8 Campus Drive, Madison.
