Madison Beach and Recreation is looking for your pumpkins! Join us for our second Pretentious Pumpkins on Parade event on Thursday, October 29, 2020. Pumpkins MUST be Pre-Registered so we know how many to expect. Then, bring your carved pumpkins to the courtyard by Key Bank on route 1 in Madison between 5:30 and 6 pm. We will display them until 8:00 pm in which you can pick them back up and bring them home for Halloween. Pumpkins will be lit by staff with tea lights and displayed for all to see. Everyone who picks up their pumpkins in person will receive a ribbon just for fun. All abandoned pumpkins will be donated to a farm for the animals to enjoy. This is a free event. Pumpkins MUST be carved out only. No added things like glue, glitter, paint, gems, etc. Just a good ol' fashioned jack-o-lantern. All pumpkins must be pre-registered in one of three ways. You can call the Recreation Department at 203-245-5623, you can email at gazdac@madisonct.org or you can go online to https://web1.vermontsystems.co... and go under the "Nature Programs" tab and register there. Open to everyone! If we do not get enough pumpkins pre-registered by Tuesday, October 27th at 4 pm, we will have to cancel this event. So please do not wait to register!
