Schools Out Early Monday Due To Heat, Mask Wearing Necessity

Monday morning schools superintendent Dr. Craig Cooke announced early dismissal for all schools due to heat and mask-wearing.

MADISON, CT — Madison schools superintendent Dr. Craig Cooke sent a message home to families at around 10 a.m. Monday morning announcing that due to the high heat index, temperatures in school buildings and the need for staff and students to wear masks, he decided that there'd be an early dismissal for all schools. Afternoon preschools classes are canceled.
