Severe Thunderstorms Warning Has Expired: UPDATE

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning covering parts of New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties has now expired, the weather service says.

The National Weather Service in Upton NY has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of New Haven, Middlesex, and New London Counties until 4:30 p.m.

"At 345 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Middlefield to near East Haddam, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
