Shoreline Adult Ed to Offer Crochet and Wire Wrap Jewelry Classes

(MADISON, CT)- Feeling crafty? Join Shoreline Adult Education's "Beginners Crochet" and "Wire Wrapping Sea Glass Jewelry" classes. Offered in-person at the First Baptist Church of Branford, both classes begin in April and are taught by local instructors.

Beginners Crochet: Tuesdays, April 6, 20, 27 May 4, 6:45-8:15 PM

Choose your own project and learn the six basic stitches of crochet. Our instructor has years of experience, patience and enthusiasm. Bring crochet hook size "H," light color worsted weight yarn, scissors, ruler, large eye yarn needle and stitch markers to first class.

Wire Wrapping Sea Glass Jewelry: Monday, April 19, 7:00-8:30 PM

Do you have a treasured stash of sea glass at home and want to make good use of it? Jill at Guilford Sea Glass will show you a few simple techniques for wire-wrapping ordinary sea glass into one-of-a-kind necklace pendants. Participants will take home at least two finished samples.
