MADISON, CT — In a message to families where schools superintendent Dr. Craig Cooke remarked on the "extraordinary year - a year of ups and downs, challenges and triumphs, losses and gains," he also shared the plan for what school will look like next year.

"As someone who is new to MPS, I have been continually impressed by the perseverance, dedication, and patience exhibited by every member of our MPS community this school year," he wrote. "For so many of us, this was an incredibly trying year and we should be proud of all we were able to accomplish together."

And because while the school year may pause for some, it does not for all, here's a link to the Madison Public Schools Reopening Plan for School Year 2021-2022. And below, the 20-page plan itself.

As Cooke noted that while "not as comprehensive as last year, this document is one way for us to share with the community how we plan to keep students and staff safe next school year. It is important to note that the plan will very likely evolve over the summer as we receive more guidance from the State of Connecticut and Department of Health."
