Town Campus Building Closed, Staff Sent Home After Septic Issue

MADISON, CT —Problems with the septic system at the Town Campus building, which resulted in bathrooms having to be closed, also forced the closure of the building, First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons said.

In a community alert, it was noted that as of 1 p.m. Thursday, the building was closed "due to maintenance issue and the Public Health Code."

Employees were being sent home and will work remotely, Lyons said.
