"Are You Available?"

Gail and I took a long weekend, but my cell phone never stopped ringing. My Realtor referral partners have my cell home number and give it out when they need to get a preapproval handled. I wish I could say 100% of the time, these calls turn into immediate business, but that is never going to be the case.

Bethany called, telling me that she had been referred by her Realtor and was surprised that I was available to take her call over the weekend. After a few minutes of conversation, it was obvious, she was ready to buy a home that the Realtor had discussed with her.

I gave her a list of information that I needed and had her email all to me. I told her I would have email and computer access in about an hour. She emailed all of the information, ran the credit and based on the income she shared and work history, I scanned her and her Realtor a preapproval.

I got an email from the Realtor and the client this morning letting me know that the offer was accepted and when could we meet to do the mortgage application. I wish all transactions went as smoothly as this one has so far.
