Just a few days after a devastating fire, a property in Manchester is for sale.
MANCHESTER, CT — Three days after a fire wrecked a home in the center of Manchester, the property was put on the market at a bargain price.
The 7,405-square-foot lot at 59 Birch St. — that's .16 acres — went on the market Monday, according to Realtor.com.
The price is a cool $15,000.

The fire broke out Nov. 12 and affected eight people. The American Red Cross has been helping them find new accommodations. Fire officials said when crews arrived, flames were showing in every window and the attic.
Fire officials indicated crews arrived at the scene at 4:48 p.m. and the conflagration was not under control until after 7 p.m.

The home was deemed uninhabitable.
