Parking Permit Crackdown Begins at UConn
Students could face $25 fines for improper placement of parking decals on vehicles.

The Universitiy of Connecticut’s Parking Services department has warned students that it will begin a ticketing blitz to enforce rules on the placement of parking permit stickers on vehicles.
In a notice sent to students last week, the department said it will begin issuing tickets on Monday to students whose vehicles do not have parking permits displayed in the lower right corner of the vehicle windshield, according to NBC Connecticut.
The tickets for improper display of a parking permit carry a $25 fine, according to the NBC report that can be found here.
