Bread And Water Officially Closes In Middletown
The popular restaurant was never able to fully bounce back after a large fire shuttered it for several months.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — Popular Middletown restaurant Bread and Water has officially closed it couldn't get back on track following a large fire two years ago.
The restaurant reopened nine months after the April 2017 fire, but much of the customer base and employees had moved on by then, according to the Middletown Press.
Bread and Water drew patrons from across the tri-state and New England region and was on Connecticut Magazine's best restaurant list in 2017.
