Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles to help avoid becoming a victim.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — Car burglaries are on the rise in Middletown and police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles to help prevent becoming a victim.
“Much like the rest of the state, Middletown has experienced an uptick in vehicle break-ins during the overnight hours,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “They have occurred all over the city, but most recently in the Westlake area. These are crimes of opportunity, we do not want you to become a victim!”
