Middletown

The Rev. Mary R. Barnett completed her seminary training this spring, earning a Master of Divinity degree from Yale Divinity School. She was ordained as transitional deacon in June and is expected to be ordained to the priesthood in January 2020. From 1986 to 2003 she was a choreographer and the artistic director of her own dance company, In Good Company. The Rev. Barnett is also an award-winning writer whose essays have appeared in Commonweal, Christian Century, Tin House and Yale Review.

The Rev. Mary Anne Osborn received her Master of Divinity degree from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, MA in 1986 and holds an advanced degree in counseling, as well as certification in clinical pastoral education. Prior to her retirement in 2018, she served parishes in Middle Haddam, North Branford and Fairfield. Apart from presiding over the Eucharist two Sundays per month, the Rev. Osborn's role at Holy Trinity will be primarily supervisory.
