Connecticut’s Old State House, home of Connecticut History Day, is reopening to the public on Thursday, July 1. And as part of the Connecticut Summer at the Museum program, Connecticut children age 18 and under plus one accompanying adult can visit Connecticut's Old State House for FREE from July 1 to September 6!
I’d like to personally invite you to visit us in Hartford this summer. You can tour the museum, purchase fresh produce in our Farmers Market (Tuesdays + Fridays), or enjoy one of our free outdoor concerts (Fridays). You might even discover a topic to research based on next year’s National History Day theme of Debate & Diplomacy in History: Successes, Failures, Consequences.
Join us next Tuesday, July 6 for free museum tours and a concert with State Troubadour Nekita Waller!
