'Dining By Drone’ Proposed In Middletown: Report

MIDDLETOWN, CT — “Dining by drone” could be coming to Middletown under a joint proposal from a restaurant owner in Newington and the chief executive officer of Hartford-based Aquiline Drones, according to the Middletown Press.

The Press reports a mixed-use development plan has been submitted to the city for the Mattabesett Canoe Club property on Harbor Drive with the drone business and restaurant sharing the space.

The plan could make it possible to have meals delivered by drone to boaters on the Connecticut River, according to the Press.
