Dog Goes Missing While Hiking In Middletown: Animal Control

The animal control is asking residents to keep an eye out for Otis.

UPDATE: Otis was found by some hikers and is safely back home, according to the animal control.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — The Middletown Animal Control is asking residents to keep an eye out for a dog that went missing while hiking on Wednesday.

“Otis went missing from Spiderweed Preserve (in the area of Saybrook Road and Aircraft Road, Middletown, CT) while hiking earlier today,” the animal control wrote in a post on Facebook. “He was wearing a backpack and a collar with a leash attached when last seen.”
