Farm To Families Free Food Distribution Event In Middletown
More than 750 boxes of fresh food will be distributed to the community in a drive-through event on Dec. 21 in Middletown.
MIDDLETOWN, CT — St. Vincent de Paul Middletown is hosting a distribution of 756 USDA boxes of fresh food from the Farm to Families program to the community on Monday, Dec. 21.
The drive-through event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., or until the available food boxes run out, at the Amazing Grace Food Pantry at 16 Stack St. in Middletown.
The free box of food includes a cold, fresh gallon of milk, three pounds of chicken products, yogurt, potatoes, onions, carrots, apples and more. One box is available per family. No sign-up or identification is required.

“On behalf of the residents of Middletown, I want to thank everyone who was involved in making this food distribution possible—individuals and organizations alike,” Mayor Ben Florsheim said. “Middlesex United Way, St. Vincent de Paul Middletown, the USDA and our federal delegation, local farmers, and transportation workers are all playing a role in making sure that families don’t go hungry this holiday season. Thank you for your collaboration on this important event for the community.”
