Girl Scouts Bring Obstacle Course to Haddam Meadows May 31

Haddam 5th Grade Girl Scouts Troop is going for its bronze badge by hosting "Kids Run Amuck!" outdoor obstacle course for grades K-8.

Local fifth grade Girl Scouts Troop 60772 is hosting the first ever “Kids Run Amuck!” outdoor obstacle course open to all children from Kindergarten through eighth grade. The custom-made courses (roughly ½ mile and just over 1 mile) are filled with tires, tunnels and other obstacles for kids to jump over, run around and crawl through. On-site registration begins at 12:30 and the event begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 31 at Haddam Meadows State Park on Rte 154 in Haddam. Cost is $10 if preregistered and paid before May 25, or $15 day of the race. All registered racers receive an official racing bib at the start and a medal upon completion.
