The home, which was originally built in 1786, is featured in an upcoming Christmas movie.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — The historic home in Middletown that is being used for the filming of a new Christmas movie starring Barbara Eden and Denise Richards was recently put on the market, realtors announced on Wednesday. The home, located at 455 East Street in Middletown, is on the market for $399,000 and is listed with Madison agent Laurie McCann, William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty announced in a press release.

The film is being executive produced by Phillip Goldfine, who is best known for his work on the Oscar-winning documentary “The Lady in Number 6: Music Saved My Life.” Cromwell native David Gere is the producer.

The movie will be released in Christmas of 2019 as production wraps up at the four-bedroom home this week. Originally built in 1786, the home at 455 East Street has been owned by just two families in 232 years, earning itself a place on the National Register of Historic Places.
